Heya bro, I got a present for ya. I'm hanging out in Ratchet's bed if you wanna come grab it.

[Papyrus will find a stack of handmade puzzles tied together with a bow in his mailbox. A note is attached to the bow itself. Several small happy snails are drawn in the margins of the note. One snail seems to be eating spaghetti.]

I thought you could use something from home. Puzzles are a grand tradition we must carry with us, even in such a new place. I may not be much of a puzzle master, but I hope these are enjoyable.

[Mettaton had felt exceedingly guilty almost immediately after ditching Papyrus, especially after having said DON'T LOOK FOR ME, more or less.

He'd had time to think it over, guilted by the accepting and sincere messages Papyrus had left in his voicemail. Enough so...that he eventually decided he was going to make this right.

If Papyrus was accepting, this should...should be fine.]
